Newton's Third Law of Motion

Newton's Third Law of Motion States that:

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Now, we have a very short law, but also the hardest law to understand.

Explanation:

Connection to Swimming:

What this law means is that for each force, an exactly opposite one exists.

Early on when you are learning to swim, they teach you how to float. When you are floating, there is the force of gravity pulling you down. But what makes you float? That force is from the water, and it pushes up on you. That force matches gravity, so you don't go flying up into space, but you also don’t sink and drown.
